Kazuma Pan NP
Kazuma Pan NP Zimbabwe
Kazuma Pan National Park is a relatively small national park located in the far northwest of Zimbabwe, near the border with Botswana. Although it is not as well known as some other national parks in Zimbabwe, it has some unique features and offers a special safari experience.
Kazuma Pan National Park offers an intimate and pristine safari destination for travelers seeking a more remote and less visited wilderness in Zimbabwe. The variety of wildlife, combined with the unique landscape and proximity to other well-known wildlife parks, makes it an interesting destination for nature lovers.

Wildlife
Kazuma Pan NP is home to a variety of wildlife including elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, hyenas, giraffes, zebras and several antelope species. The park’s proximity to Botswana’s Chobe National Park also allows animals to migrate freely between the two areas.
The park offers excellent birdwatching opportunities, with more than 400 bird species recorded here. During the wet season, many aquatic birds migrate to the area.
Accessibility
The park is accessible via the Pandamatenga border post in the south of the park. Perfect to combine with a visit to Botswana.
Accommodations
There are a few exclusive campsites in the park that you can book. Some have hot and cold water, some just cold water. There are no communal campsites or lodges in Kazuma Pan.
Parkfees
You pay the entrance fee to Kazuma Pan in advance when booking. The cost for international visitors with their own transportation is $4 per person and $6 per car per day.
